MILA offers a few different ways to enjoy the best sushi in Miami. Let us serve you six of our favorite pieces in our nigiri sampler, or skip the rice and get the freshest fish on the market with our sashimi sampler. If you know exactly what you're in the mood for, choose from our a la carte nigiri and sashimi options.
You can find our most unique and creative options on our maki and signature nigiri lists. These menus feature classics like spicy tuna maki as well as less standard choices, such as a salmon roll with Mediterranean flavors like sun-dried tomato and extra virgin olive oil and nigiri with premium wagyu beef.
Menu Options
MILA works to provide a high-end izakaya sushi experience for our guests, combining a relaxed feel that invites you to stay awhile, enjoy conversation, and share dishes with the others at your table with a high-end menu offering premium ingredients and expert cooking techniques. There are two ways to enjoy sushi in Miami at MILA. Our omakase space is a ten-seat private room with a cherry blossom tree and distinctive decor like a 500-year-old wooden cutting board. Here, you'll enjoy dishes thoughtfully selected by our Executive Chef, Reiji Yoshizawa. This menu is constantly changing and inspired by the seasons, and it highlights some of our best premium ingredients.
You can also opt for a more flexible ordering experience in our main dining room. Get the chef's best recommendations with our nigiri or sashimi omakase, or choose something new from our signature menu. We also have options for different dietary needs and preferences. Several of our dishes, including some maki rolls, are gluten-free, and plenty of vegan dishes are available. Outside of the sushi menu, we offer a beautiful selection of beef-based dishes, as well as grilled seafood options.
Ingredients Specific to MILA
Great food is made from quality ingredients that come from skilled and thoughtful producers. We prefer to source our fish from the Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Fukuoka prefectures in Japan. Most fish are line-caught and flown to our Miami kitchen daily to ensure they're fresh and retain their ideal flavor and texture. Our wasabi comes from the Shizuoka prefecture and can be ordered freshly grated at your table.
A5 Kagoshima Wagyu, the highest quality on the market, is available in both maki and nigiri. The Wagyu nigiri includes shaved black truffle and fresh wasabi, and the maki pairs Wagyu with foie gras and unagi sauce. Foie gras fans can also enjoy it in the toro nigiri, where it's flavored with eel sauce and decorated with gold flakes. Other premium ingredients on our sushi menu include sterling caviar, which is available in our toro maki and paired with bluefin tuna in our chu-toro nigiri. Other freshly flown-in fish include hamachi, scallops, and king salmon.
